Project Design Engineer Position Summary Project Engineer (Design) We currently have an opportunity for a Project Engineer (Design) to join our semi-conductor team based out of the Citywest office. The successful candidate will support the PM in managing all aspects of design delivery on numerous multidiscipline projects at our client site in Leixlip Kildare. Hybrid arrangement, 2 days remote, 3 days either in the office in Citywest or on the site in Leixlip dependent on project requirements. Responsibilities Delivery of design for capital projects safely, on budget and to schedule Collaborate with the design team to develop & implement appropriate project execution strategy Plan, execute and track the progress of projects through the design phases from inception to handover Build effective communication between the team, clients and stakeholders Execute the day-to-day running of design development ensuring alignment between disciplines and milestones. Coordinate project workflows, schedules, and deliverables across multiple disciplines. Maintain and update project trackers, action registers, progress logs and schedules. Complete planning sessions and support schedule development and updates. Ownership of project meetings and workshops including preparation and distribution of action trackers Ensure follow-up on actions and timely close-out of tasks Monitor compliance to applicable practices policies, processes and procedures. Drive project issues to closure, work proactively with the design team and contractors to develop solutions. Lead site walks with the design team and contractors including managing RFIs and Submittals Qualifications 5 years project experience (ideally design related) with a 3rd level degree in a relevant engineering discipline Good understanding of engineering principles, concepts, industry practices and standards Structured and process-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset Proactive and self-driven with strong accountability for delivering assigned tasks Collaborative team player with good communication skills. This role involves working as part of a multi discipline, highly collaborative engineering team delivering process design for semiconductor manufacturing, data centres, and other advanced technology facilities. You will contribute to feasibility studies, long range planning, concept design, detailed engineering, and construction support for some of the most complex and specialised facilities being built today. The ideal candidate is a self driven engineer with strong communication skills, excellent technical judgement, and a passion for delivering high quality process design in a fast paced environment. You will play a key role in developing process solutions, coordinating with other disciplines, and ensuring technical excellence across project deliverables. Why Join Arcadis?
