C Licence Driver – Flexi / Multi-Drop Deliveries
ISS Recruitment HR Servicesis currently recruiting on behalf of an established Irish chemicals and specialist materials company for 2x C Licence Drivers to join their team.
Our client supplies and distributes chemical products to customers across Ireland and operates in an industry where safety, reliability and professional service are paramount.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced C Licence Driver looking for a flexible working arrangement, with the option to take on additional stores/warehouse work on non-driving days.
The Role
As a C Licence Driver, you will be responsible for carrying out routine multi-drop deliveries to customers throughout Ireland.
The role offers flexibility of 3–5 working days per week, depending on your availability and the business requirements.
Working hours:Approximately 7:00am – 3:00pm
Working days:Flexible, 3–5 days per week
Salary:€44,000 pro-rata
Drivers completing their agreed driving days will have their truck loaded and prepared for them before departure.
On days when you are not driving, there may be an opportunity to work within the company's stores/warehouse operation. On these days, you would be responsible for preparing and loading your own deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
Safely operate a C Licence vehicle
Complete routine multi-drop deliveries throughout Ireland
Deliver products safely and efficiently to customers
Complete all required delivery documentation
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues
Maintain a professional and courteous approach with customers
Follow all company health safety procedures
Load and prepare deliveries when working within the stores operation
Handle products safely and responsibly
ADR Training – Fully Sponsored
As part of this opportunity, the successful candidate will be required to complete ADR training for the transportation of hazardous goods.
The company will fully sponsor the training, which takes approximately 3 days and has a value of approximately €5,000.
ADR training provides drivers with the knowledge required to safely transport hazardous goods and understand the correct procedures to follow in the event of an emergency, spill or fire.
Previous ADR certification is not required— however, candidates must be willing to undertake and complete the training.
Requirements
Valid C Licence
Previous professional driving experience is desirable
Good knowledge of Irish roads
Strong awareness of health safety
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to speak, read and write English
Reliable and punctual
Professional attitude and strong work ethic
Willingness to complete ADR training
Comfortable carrying out multi-drop deliveries throughout Ireland
Flexible approach to both driving and stores/warehouse duties
