An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team at our Letterkenny site!
We are looking for a Cable Material Handler to play a vital role in supporting smooth production operations and ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and supply of cable and electrical materials throughout the manufacturing process.
These positions are ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment and are committed to supporting efficient, safe, and high-quality operations.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor live production and ensure the continuous flow of raw materials, including cables and electrical components, to the production floor.

Ensure Cables are delivered to Fabrication and Production Stores in a timely manner.

Handle, document,recieve, store, identify, and distribute electrical materials, cables, and associated components accurately and safely.

Report any damages or shortages on deliveries before unloading.

Ensure that all materials are stored correctly, labelled, and organized, with full traceability of items leaving each area.

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized working environment.

Support the timely distribution of materials between stores, production, fabrication, and assembly teams.

Provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues, identifying and escalating training needs where necessary.

Uphold and contribute to VOS principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Adhere to all Health & Safety, security, risk assessment, and COSHH requirements.

What We're Looking For

Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Experience handling cables, electrical materials, or components within a manufacturing, electrical, or industrial environment.

Knowledge of cable types, identification, storage, and material handling best practices.

Counterbalance Forklift licence (mandatory).
-
Knowledge of workshop equipment, methods, and procedures.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
-
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Positive, organised, and enthusiastic approach with a commitment to quality and customer service.

A clear disciplinary record.
