What you'll do
The role of Office Manager is key, not just in providing an efficient working environment, but also in terms of developing a positive and engaging experience for all employees. Reporting to the Dublin Site Lead but working crossfunctionally, you will ensure Viasat’s high standards of environment, culture and physical workspace are maintained.
The day-to-day
- Co-ordinate teams to deliver a functioning work environment that supports the delivery of outstanding service to our customers.
- Working with our outsourced partners on day-to-day facilities management for the Dublin office.
- Meeting and greeting of visitors.
- Liaise with the Security teams in the UK/US to ensure all contractors and new employees receive security clearance.
- Issue Purchase Orders and confirm the receipt of goods and services in accordance with company procurement policies.
- A key member of the team hosting both employee and customerfocused events.
What you'll need
- 3 years+ in an equivalent handson role.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Enthusiastic, reliable and proactive, you are a selfstarter with a positive outlook.
- Track record of building relationships across a diverse organisation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Applicants must be eligible to live and work in Ireland
What will help you on the job
- Event management experience is an advantage.
- Internal communications and Design experience are a plus.
