Program Manager

Vertiv Co
Burnfoot, Ireland Full Time
Reference: 218_399263_20260621

Join Vertiv and help shape the future of AI infrastructure.

As demand for AI and hyperscale data centres continues to accelerate, Vertiv is expanding its Busbar business and is looking for talented Program Managers to join our New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) team.

Our customers include some of the world's largest technology companies, including AWS, Google and Microsoft, and we're developing the next generation of critical power distribution solutions that support their rapidly growing infrastructure.

About Busbar

Busbar is an advanced power distribution system that delivers electricity from the main power source to servers, UPS systems, cooling equipment and other critical loads within data centres. Compared to traditional cable-based systems, Busbar solutions are more efficient, modular and scalable-making them a key technology for modern AI and hyperscale facilities.

If you enjoy bringing cross-functional teams together, driving new product launches and working on technology that powers the world's largest data centres, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of new product development and sustaining engineering projects from concept through to production.

Working across multiple functions, you'll coordinate engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career Program Manager with experience in manufacturing-based New Product Development who is looking to grow within a global technology leader.

  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans and drive timely resolution of issues
  • Prepare and deliver regular project updates to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards and KPI reporting
  • Ensure compliance with Vertiv's New Product Development & Introduction (NPDI) Stage Gate process
  • Facilitate effective communication across internal and external stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery and business performance
  • Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing project environment
What We're Looking For Essential

  • Experience managing New Product Development (NPD/NPDI) projects within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using Waterfall / Stage Gate project management methodologies
  • Strong project planning and scheduling experience, including Gantt chart management
  • Experience with project KPI reporting and stakeholder communication
  • Knowledge of project risk management and mitigation techniques
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and project meetings
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

  • Ability to build strong relationships across multiple business functions and influence stakeholders
Desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
  • Experience within electrical power distribution, 3-phase power systems or Busbar products
