Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Limerick is looking for an experienced and passionate Housekeeping Manager to lead our Accommodation team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest comfort throughout the hotel.

About the Role

As Housekeeping Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the hotel's housekeeping operation, ensuring bedrooms and public areas are maintained to an exceptional standard.

You will lead, motivate and develop the Accommodation team while managing productivity, departmental costs, stock levels, quality standards and guest expectations.

Working closely with the wider hotel management team, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest experiences the quality, comfort and attention to detail expected at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Limerick.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping department.
  • Ensure all guest bedrooms, corridors and public areas are maintained to consistently high standards.
  • Manage, coach and motivate the Accommodation team, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Plan departmental rotas and staffing levels in line with hotel occupancy and operational requirements.
  • Conduct regular room and public-area inspections and take appropriate action where standards require improvement.
  • Ensure rooms are released efficiently and accurately in coordination with the Front Office team.
  • Monitor productivity, payroll and departmental expenditure against agreed budgets.
  • Manage linen, guest supplies, cleaning products and housekeeping equipment effectively.
  • Maintain appropriate stock levels and oversee departmental ordering and inventory controls.
  • Ensure all health, safety, hygiene and manual-handling procedures are followed.
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, training and development of housekeeping colleagues.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to guest feedback or service issues.
  • Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure an excellent overall guest experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the department while maintaining Radisson Blu and iNUA service standards.
A Day in the Life

No two days are quite the same.

You may start your morning reviewing occupancy levels and room priorities with your supervisors before briefing the team and allocating responsibilities for the day.

Throughout your shift, you will inspect bedrooms and public areas, support your team during busy periods, coordinate with Reception and Maintenance, monitor productivity and make sure rooms are available for arriving guests on time.

Just as importantly, you will spend time coaching and developing your team, recognising great performance and identifying opportunities to continually improve the guest and colleague experience.

What We Are Looking For
Essential
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or accommodation management position within a hotel or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations and quality standards.
  • Proven experience leading, motivating and developing a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a genuine commitment to high standards.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy department and prioritise effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team operationally when required.
  • Flexibility to work across a hospitality operation, including weekends where required.
Desirable
  • Previous experience within a large or busy full-service hotel.
  • Experience managing departmental budgets, payroll and productivity.
  • Experience with hotel property management or housekeeping systems.
  • Previous experience working within an international hotel brand.
