Role Profile
The role of Deputy Registrar is part of their senior leadership team in the Office of the Vice-President Academic Affairs / Registrar (OVPAA), and provides direct support to the VPAA / Registrar to deliver on the significant strategic, regulatory, policy and operational responsibilities attributed to that role.
The Deputy Registrar role provides academic leadership and institutional authority (as the Registrar's nominee) in matters relating to academic governance, regulatory compliance and policy across undergraduate and postgraduate provision. The Deputy Registrar safeguards academic standards, ensures consistent regulatory interpretation, and governs implementation through quality, governance and operational leads, while simultaneously empowering Faculties to be innovative in curriculum design and deliver on our ambitious strategy.
The Deputy Registrar reports to the Vice-President Academic Affairs / Registrar, and will represent the VPAA/Registrar at relevant University committees and senior forums internally and externally.
