HVAC Design Engineer

We are looking for a HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site. The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for managing the implementation of a portfolio of projects onsite, as part of the site projects team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary engineering project management teams, in the BioPharma, Pharma or Medtech sectors, and supporting capital project execution.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the HVAC and Building Services Design for Pharma/Biotech as part of a multi-disciplined projects team
- Preparation of HVAC Deliverables, including AF&ID’s, HVAC design calculations, Chillers design, assisting BMS design and utility systems design
- Generating detailed scope of work packages for HVAC contractor for tender / procurement process
- Co-ordination and supervision of HVAC contractor(s) during construction and commissioning activities
- Co-ordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule and budget
- The Specification and procurement of AHU’s, etc.
- Technical support to both the project team and clients
- Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews
- Review project scope, budget and schedule
- Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity
- All aspects of Health & Safety on site related to project role
- Programming works schedule and monitoring progress, compliance with regulations and costs.
Qualifications
- A BE degree in Engineering is preferred
- 5 to 10 plus years’ experience in HVAC/Mechanical design and construction environments
- Proven track record of successful project delivery
- Good communications and teamwork skills are essential.
