We are looking for a HVAC Design Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative OTS team, working on a client site. The HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for managing the implementation of a portfolio of projects onsite, as part of the site projects team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-disciplinary engineering project management teams, in the BioPharma, Pharma or Medtech sectors, and supporting capital project execution.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the HVAC and Building Services Design for Pharma/Biotech as part of a multi-disciplined projects team
  • Preparation of HVAC Deliverables, including AF&ID’s, HVAC design calculations, Chillers design, assisting BMS design and utility systems design
  • Generating detailed scope of work packages for HVAC contractor for tender / procurement process
  • Co-ordination and supervision of HVAC contractor(s) during construction and commissioning activities
  • Co-ordinate contractor activities to monitor and track work ensuring delivery of the schedule and budget
  • The Specification and procurement of AHU’s, etc.
  • Technical support to both the project team and clients
  • Participate in Constructability and Safety reviews
  • Review project scope, budget and schedule
  • Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity
  • All aspects of Health & Safety on site related to project role
  • Programming works schedule and monitoring progress, compliance with regulations and costs.

Qualifications

  • A BE degree in Engineering is preferred
  • 5 to 10 plus years’ experience in HVAC/Mechanical design and construction environments
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Good communications and teamwork skills are essential.
