Job Description

This role is responsible for analysing and reporting all energy and carbon data for Dublin Airport, including monthly tracking of consumption, costs and emissions. It manages energy costs and tenant billing, ensuring accuracy and resolving queries. The role also supports regulatory compliance and reporting requirements, contributes to energy awareness and training, and oversees the energy meter database to ensure issues are tracked and systems are maintained effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Support regulatory compliance by preparing and contributing to annual energy and carbon returns (EU ETS, SEAI, CSO, ACA) and ISO50001 certification
  • Deliver monthly reporting on energy consumption, costs and carbon emissions, including analysis and performance commentary
  • Monitor energy usage trends (daily, monthly, annual) and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements
  • Manage energy billing and recharges, including tariff setup, cost verification, tenant billing and query resolution
  • Oversee the energy meter database, ensuring accurate setup, issue tracking and data integrity across systems
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards (e.g. Power BI) to support energy and ESG reporting requirements
  • Lead internal energy awareness campaigns and support training initiatives to improve organisational capability
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including tenants, internal teams and external providers, on energy-related matters


Qualifications

Knowledge & Qualification
  • Degree Qualified in a relevant engineering, science, data analysis, environmental field
  • Training or experience in energy management, data analysis , energy bills is a distinct advantage
  • Training or experience in implementing ISO50001 is an advantage


Experience
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with complex datasets and interpreting results.
  • Experience calculating energy savings, tracking energy consumption figures, bill management and calculating carbon emissions
  • Familiar with the operation of energy markets

Experience with Power BI an advantage

  • Self-starter who can work independently
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
  • Ability to present complex data to a non-technical audience
