The role
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you'll learn the fundamentals of recruitment and be supported to build the skills needed to source talent, develop relationships, and manage the recruitment lifecycle. Key responsibilities
- Support 360 recruitment activity, combining candidate delivery with client development (winning and servicing business).
- Build and maintain a candidate network through proactive sourcing, screening, interviewing and relationship management.
- Develop client relationships and support business development, including lead generation, outreach/cold calling, arranging meetings, taking job briefs and supporting terms negotiations (with guidance from senior consultants).
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job briefing and shortlisting through interview coordination, offers and reference checks.
- Maintain accurate records on the ATS/CRM, track activity, and contribute to team KPIs (e.g., calls/meetings, job flow, CV submissions, interviews and placements).
