About the Role

Our client is seeking a Driver / Operator to support their operations team.

This opportunity may suit candidates with previous experience in forklift operations, haulage, yard operations, warehousing or plant operation. Training and certification opportunities are available, which may provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to further develop their skills and experience within the role.

The successful candidate will work as part of the wider operations team, supporting the safe and efficient completion of day to day activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out Driver / Operator duties as required within the operation.
• Support day to day yard, logistics and operational activities.
• Operate relevant equipment where appropriately trained and certified.
• Follow company procedures and health and safety requirements.
• Work effectively as part of the wider operations team.
• Carry out duties in a safe, responsible and efficient manner.
• Support other operational activities as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in one or more of the following areas would be beneficial:
  • Forklift operation
  • Haulage
  • Yard operations
  • Warehouse operations
  • Plant operation
• Relevant operational or logistics experience.
• Good awareness of health and safety requirements.
• Reliable and responsible approach to work.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and certification where required.

Training & Certification

Training and certification opportunities are available as part of the role. These may be particularly attractive to candidates with existing forklift, haulage, yard, warehouse or plant-operation experience who are looking to develop their skills further.
