The Enva's Water & Industrial Service and Organics division is primarily involved in offering services to water and wastewater treatment plant operators. The business provides services to municipalities, water companies and private industry throughout Ireland and in the UK

Enva Environmental Services division is expanding, and we are now recruiting a Environmental Project Engineer to assist in the management of operations of a portfolio of existing projects and to support the ongoing growth of the division. The role offers significant potential for rapid personal growth and development.
This role may suit an engineering or agricultural/environmental science graduate with 1- 3 years' experience in the workforce, looking to work at the intersection of engineering, agriculture, and environmental management, partnering closely with our clients to solve real-world challenges in a safe, compliant, and commercially effective way.
Project and Operations Support
- Assist project manager in delivering projects safely, compliantly and efficiently
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory bodies and other stake holder
- Supervise site activities and sub-contractors
- Environmental monitoring (e.g. inspections, sampling and analysis)
- Nutrient Management Planning
- Assist in day to day management of key client contacts, completing project reports and provide clear project update
- Identifying and resolving operational issues on-site
Technical
- Environmental planning, monitoring and reporting
- Designing and drafting applications for appropriate permissions, waste licences and planning applications
- Support specification and procurement of plant and equipment
- Contribute to technical problem-solving across project
Business Development
- Support the development of new opportunities with existing and new clients
- Contribute ideas to improve project delivery and service offerings
R&D
- Research and support new initiatives, processes and technologies to maintain Enva Environmental services position as an innovator and a forward thinker in this space
- Strong engineering (civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical), Science, Agricultural or Environmental primary degree
- 1-3 years' experience in the engineering, environmental science, waste industry an advantage.
- Agricultural knowledge and experience beneficial
- Good report writing skills, proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong research and technical reporting skills
- Experience managing plant and equipment beneficial
- Experience using Autocad and Arc GIS
- Experience in environmental monitoring and reporting beneficial
- Ability to quickly understand the technical and operational issues facing the Environmental Services Sector
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships within the existing team and amongst clients
- Strong drive, self-starter and ambition to grow a business and a team
- Full, clean driving license essential
- Flexible for nationwide travel
