Purpose of the job
To fulfil and complete the quality control functions from the production floor in relation to all day-to-day factory floor activities and issues with customers/suppliers
Key responsibilities
Area of responsibility 1:
Complete visual, functional and measurement (CMM, Vision System, Manual Gauges) inspections on production samples as per the defined sampling plans. Timely and accurate reporting, analysis and communication of conforming/non-conforming product, visual defects, measurement trends and ‘Out of Spec’ results.
Area of responsibility 2:
Aid in the resolution of customer complaints and non-conforming product and aid in the timely release of in process product to the customer in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines
Area of responsibility 3:
Assisting on and ensuring checkbacks are carried out as procedure. Assist metrology engineer on MSA/Gauge RR.
Assist in training of associates for techniques and use of Metrology Lab equipment and supporting any training activities with their shift. Assist during validation/engineering trials as required- accurate reporting, analysis and communication of results.
Area of responsibility 4:
Ensuring ccorrect storage of samples and maintenance of sample area and ensure all shift paperwork is completed, GDP compliant and located/filed in the appropriate location.
Area of responsibility 5:
Pro-actively ensuring GMP, EHS and housekeeping standards are maintained throughout the MGS site
Required qualifications, skills and experience
Essential criteria
Previous relevant experience working in a cleanroom/GMP environment.
Ability to work a 4-cycle shift roster/pattern.
Have strong information management and analytical skills
Qualifications
A certificate in metrology, instrumentation or related technical discipline is desired but not essential
Experience
Previous experience on ERP systems
Experience in MS Office tools and PC applications
Experience working in a quality control/assurance role and/or in a metrology laboratory setting is desirable
Knowledge/skills
Ability to multitask.
Strong communication, written verbal skills
Strong health safety awareness

Previous relevant GMP experience

Basic salary and complementary and variable pay components
Basic salary range:
€31,957.55
Complementary and variable pay components:
€39,307.79 inclusive of shift Sunday premium.
