Revive Group is recruiting apprentices to join our manufacturing facility in Tipperary. These programmes offer the opportunity to earn from day one, gain hands-on industrial experience, and work towards a nationally and internationally recognised NFQ Level 6 qualification.

All apprenticeship streams are registered with SOLAS and are designed to give apprentices practical, career-building experience in a live manufacturing environment.

Apprenticeship Streams

We are recruiting across the following apprenticeship streams:

Mechanical Automation Maintenance Fitting (MAMF) – 4 Years

This apprenticeship focuses on developing practical and technical skills in industrial maintenance and machinery support.

You will learn and work in areas such as:

  1. Precision machining

  2. Welding

  3. CNC operations

  4. Diagnostics and fault-finding

  5. Commissioning industrial equipment

  6. Maintaining machinery on a live production floor

Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) – 3 Years

This apprenticeship provides broad experience across equipment build, testing, and maintenance, with exposure to mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic systems.

You will work on:

  1. Equipment assembly

  2. Mechanical systems

  3. Electrical systems

  4. Mechatronic systems

  5. Equipment testing

  6. Troubleshooting and fault diagnosis

  7. Maintenance activities

Metal Fabrication – 4 Years

This apprenticeship develops practical skills in metal fabrication within a live manufacturing environment. You will gain experience in fabricating and assembling metallic systems, including structural steel, plate, pipe and other industrial components.

You will learn and work in areas such as:

  1. MMA, TIG/TAG and MIG/MAG welding

  2. Plate, pipe and structural fabrication

  3. Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings

  4. Measuring, marking out, cutting and welding various metals

  5. Thermal cutting, bending and forming techniques

  6. Structural steel assembly and installation

The programme combines on-the-job experience with off-the-job training and leads to a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft in Metal Fabrication.

Who Can Apply

Apprenticeships are open to:

  • School leavers

  • Career changers

  • Adults aged 16 and over at the point of SOLAS registration

  • Applicants of all ages, with no upper age limit

A mature-entry route (RPL) is also available for:

  • Applicants aged 23 and over

  • Applicants with three or more years of industrial experience

Required

  • Eligibility to register for a SOLAS apprenticeship

  • Successful completion of the Ishihara Colour Vision Test (24-plate edition)

  • For non-native English speakers, CEFR Level B2/C1English proficiency

  • Meeting the entry requirements for the specific apprenticeship stream you are applying for

Desirable Skills Attributes

  • An interest in manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or fabrication

  • Practical problem-solving ability

  • A willingness to learn in a hands-on environment

  • An interest in building a long-term career in industry
