If you enjoy working independently, being outdoors and dealing with people professionally, this could be the role for you.

As a Clamping Enforcement Officer with APCOA, you'll patrol private car parks across Dublin, ensuring parking regulations are followed on behalf of our clients. You'll drive between sites, issue parking notices, apply wheel clamps where appropriate and provide clear, professional advice to motorists. This is an important public facing role that requires confidence, resilience and excellent customer service.

Before you apply...as this role isn't for everyone.

You'll spend most of your working day:

• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Driving between multiple sites
• Walking throughout your shift
• Lifting and fitting wheel clamps (approximately 18kg)
• Working independently for much of the day
• Dealing professionally with customers who may be upset or frustrated
• Following procedures accurately and consistently

However, if you enjoy working on your own, keeping busy and remaining calm under pressure, you'll find this a rewarding and varied role.

What you'll be doing

• Patrolling private car parks across Dublin and surrounding areas
• Enforcing parking regulations professionally and fairly
• Providing excellent customer service to motorists
• Recording enforcement activity using a smartphone
• Keeping sites safe, clean and compliant
• Representing APCOA and our clients professionally at all times

What we're looking for

We're looking for people who are:

• Calm under pressure
• Confident speaking with members of the public
• Honest and professional
• Comfortable working alone
• Reliable and punctual
• Physically capable of lifting wheel clamps throughout the day
• Able to use a smartphone and basic technology

People from customer service, retail, hospitality, delivery driving, security, military, transport, warehouse, facilities management and enforcement backgrounds often do well in this role.

Essential Requirements

• Full clean manual driving licence - we cannot accept an N licence
• Over 21 years of age (insurance requirement)
• At least two years' driving experience
• Able to pass a Garda Vetting / criminal record check
• Able to provide two employment references

What you'll receive

• €14.15 per hour
• Earnings up to €40,000 per annum* (monthly enforcement bonus available)
• Company vehicle during working hours
• Full uniform, PPE and mobile phone
• Two weeks' fully paid training with ongoing coaching and support

• 20 days annual leave plus Bank holidays
• Five days out of seven on a rotating rota including weekends
