About the role and what you'll do
The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and compliant environment by overseeing security operations, monitoring security systems, driving audits, and ensuring adherence to company security standards.
• Implement and maintain security procedures and compliance standards
• Driving internal, external, customer, and security audits
• Monitor and maintain CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and emergency equipment
• Conduct regular security inspections and system checks
• Deliver security and safety awareness training
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches
• Maintain accurate security records, reports, and documentation
• Safeguard company assets, employees, guests, or others on company property
• Coordinate secure handling of deliveries, shipments, and visitors
• Support continuous improvement of security processes and controls
About you
You are a proactive and dependable security professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe and secure workplace. You have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to compliance and operational excellence. You communicate effectively with people at all levels and remain calm and professional when responding to incidents or security concerns.
Experience and knowledge
• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Security Training Certification is preferred
• 3-4 years of experience in security operations or a similar system based role
• Knowledge of security procedures, incident response, and risk management
• Good written and spoken English
