About The Role

Title: EHS Lead

Location: Kildare

Salary: €90,000- €100,000

Position: Permanent Contract

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm | 40 hours

Work Environment: Fully onsite

We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to support a large strategic client site in North Kildare. Reporting to the Strategic Account Director, you will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives, ensuring compliance, driving continuous improvement, and promoting a positive safety culture across the site.

Key Responsibilities of the EHS Lead:

  • Lead and develop site Health, Safety & Environmental programmes and procedures.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with Irish legislation, company policies and client requirements.
  • Deliver safety training, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives.
  • Analyse safety performance data and implement improvement plans.
  • Provide expert H&S guidance to managers and operational teams.
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and represent the company at safety meetings.
  • Lead, coach and develop the site safety team.


Essential Requirements of the EHS Lead:

  • Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Health & Safety or related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
  • Experience in a senior H&S role within a complex operational, construction, engineering or industrial environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid authorisation to work full-time in Ireland.
  • Safe Pass.
  • PSDP and/or PSCS.
  • Manual Handling Instructor.
  • Train the Trainer beneficial.
  • Auditor qualification.
  • IOSH Chartered Membership (or working towards
