Description

We are looking for a detail orientated Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our busy team. This role will report to the Accounts Receivable Lead. This is a hybrid job requiring at least two days a week in Portlaoise, offering a flexible balance between remote work and on-site office collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the primary AR email inbox - Review, prioritise, and categorise the AR inbox (e.g., Remittances, Disputes, General Queries) and route them to the appropriate team members or address them directly
  • Process incoming customer payments (BACS, cheques, credit cards) and match remittances received via email to outstanding invoices for accurate cash application.
  • Prepare cheque lodgements & lodge in bank
  • Cover reception desk 2 days a week, light dutieCover for the wider AR team when required
  • Other ad-hoc reports as required

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Candidate must have experience with accounts receivable administrative role and good knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Training will be given on systems used by the company.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to deal with large volumes/busy/fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to work off own initiative and be proactive.
  • Must have demonstrable ability to work to deadlines and understand urgency of month end cut-offs.
  • Must have excellent communication skills
