Apleona is currently recruiting for a HR Advisor to work in Dublin 14 , with the opportunity to work from home up to three days per week (hybrid working).
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm.
Overall Purpose of the Job
You will be responsible for coaching line managers on employee relations matters and for the case management of individual cases, ranging from, probation, performance, absenteeism and grievance & disciplinary issues.

Overall Purpose of the Job
You will be responsible for coaching line managers on employee relations matters and for the case management of individual cases, ranging from, probation, performance, absenteeism and grievance & disciplinary issues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support managers/supervisors by advising and coaching on people issues, in a confidential and sensitive manner to help them deal appropriately, from a legislative and employee relations perspective, taking on complex people matters and supporting colleagues.
- Manage a complex case load from commencement to case completion and deliver a consistent, knowledgeable and professional service in areas including disciplinary, grievance, absenteeism, probation, performance, dignity at work etc. ensuring all such matters are dealt with in line with Apleona's policy, best practice and legislative requirements in order to mitigate risk.
- Develop and deliver training for managers/supervisors on employee related matters equipping them to manage their people issues in a consistent and solution-focused manner.
- Advise and work with colleagues in effectively implementing Disciplinary, Grievance and Dignity at Work processes and procedures, giving advice on early intervention strategies so as to minimise any exposure.
- Collaborate with colleagues to regularly review HR policies to ensure they are fit for purpose, consistent with legislative changes and in line with best practice.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relationship with appropriate site staff.
- Other HR duties may be assigned to broaden your scope within the HR field.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Studies or a related discipline.
- CIPD membership desirable.
- 3-5 years' experience managing disciplinary, grievance and performance management cases.
- Experience of working with and influencing Senior Management in a large and complex facilities management company an advantage.
- Previous experience of working in industries which have undergo rapid change.
- Excellent understanding of current Irish Employment legislation.
- Expert knowledge of Employment Law related policies & procedures and experience of practical application.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability in building and managing relationships.
- A full clean driving licence is essential for this role.
