Context
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Environmental Consultant to join our growing team. This position within our environmental team will suit a committed and ambitious Environmental Consultant who can demonstrate strong growth, leadership and interpersonal skills combined with commercial awareness and the ability to play their part in growing a dynamic high-performance team.
The Senior Environment Consultant will support our environmental team in Ireland as our workload continues to grow, with a clear objective to further expand both the workstream and the team in the region.

Missions/Main Duties
Support the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments and environmental assessments:
- Ensuring thorough coordination of multidisciplinary teams, including authoring chapters and technical reviews of specialist chapters
- Involvement across all project life stages (feasibility, option selection, outline design, to detailed design and construction).
- Critical eye for detail to ensure deliverables are produced to the highest quality standards
- Provide environmental advice to project teams and clients across disciplines to improve the environmental outcomes
- Engaging with stakeholders as part of the environmental impact assessment and/or planning process
Project management
- Managing project activities including programming, coordination of resources and budget control
- Monitoring and forecasting project performance and undertaking project reviews
- Stakeholder engagement, including client communication and public consultations
- Support and mentor junior team members
Supporting tender preparations
- Contribute to the preparation of bids and proposals
- Assisting with team business development and marketing
Profile/Skills
- Minimum of a Level 8 qualification (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline
- Demonstrable experience working within an environmental consultancy
- Membership or chartership of a recognised environmental professional body (e.g., ISEP, CIWEM)
- Strong understanding of Irish planning legislation, environmental regulations and EU Directives
- Experience in coordinating EIAs and environmental assessments and managing multidisciplinary environmental inputs
- Experience in supporting bids, proposals or other business activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under own initiative and comfortable with working on multiple projects and tasks at any one time.
