About The Moore Group

The Moore Group (TMG) is a strategic consulting firm that has helped global organizations navigate business transformation for more than 30 years. This role supports our long-standing client, Pfizer.

The Opportunity

TMG is seeking a versatile senior individual contributor who can lead complex projects end to end across UX research, design strategy, facilitation, and rapid prototyping. The ideal candidate combines strong business judgment and executive presence with the ability to navigate ambiguity, organizational politics, and tense stakeholder environments. They must also use AI fluently to accelerate high-quality work without sacrificing accuracy, confidentiality, or critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead UX research and design strategy engagements from ambiguous problem framing and discovery through future-state direction, validation, and implementation support.

  • Plan and conduct appropriate qualitative and quantitative research, then connect user evidence, metrics, and business context to actionable strategy and value.

  • Create journey maps, service blueprints, user flows, wireframes, concepts, and rapid prototypes in Figma or comparable tools.

  • Facilitate workshops, research readouts, design reviews, and executive discussions that surface tradeoffs, build alignment, and move decisions forward.

  • Navigate competing priorities and sensitive stakeholder dynamics with diplomacy, confidence, discretion, and grace; influence without relying on formal authority.

  • Partner closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, designers, engineers, operations leaders, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Deliver sophisticated, executive-ready recommendations with a polished, engaging, and credible client-facing and on-camera presence.

  • Use enterprise-approved AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, ideation, prototyping, and communication while validating outputs and following privacy, security, and responsible-AI requirements.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience across UX research, design strategy, service design, interaction design, or product strategy, including independent ownership of complex projects.

  • Strong mixed-methods research foundation and the ability to connect user evidence to product, operational, and business decisions.

  • Proficiency with Figma and collaborative platforms such as FigJam and Miro; able to prototype and visualize ideas at the fidelity needed to learn and align.

  • Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot, including prompt development, output evaluation, and responsible use.

  • Experience collaborating with product, design, engineering, operations, and senior leadership in large, matrixed, regulated, Agile, or iterative delivery environments.

  • Exceptional facilitation, executive storytelling, writing, presentation, interpersonal, and client-facing communication skills, with full professional fluency in English.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience; portfolio or work samples demonstrating strategic thinking, stakeholder complexity, and impact.

Preferred Experience

Pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare, manufacturing, supply chain, or another regulated global enterprise; internal consulting or client-services work; and experience with UX ROI, accessibility, design systems, or AI-enabled experiences.

Tools and Methods

Figma, FigJam, Miro, Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, mixed-methods research, journey mapping, service blueprints, rapid prototyping, usability testing, design systems, accessibility, Agile/Scrum, value framing, and executive storytelling.

Why Join Us?

  • High-impact work supporting enterprise digital and operational transformation at Pfizer.
