Research Administrator, UCD School of Computer Science, Temporary 24 months post
Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Administrator within School of Computer Science.
The Research Administrator will provide high-quality project administration and operational support for two strategic European-funded research projects hosted by the UCD School of Computer Science: GenAI-EduMap (Erasmus+) and IRIS-XR (Horizon Europe).
The role will be funded at 50% FTE from each project and will support the successful delivery of UCD's scientific, administrative, financial, communication, and reporting responsibilities across both projects. UCD leads Work Package 8 in GenAI-EduMap, focused on developing implementation guidelines and policy recommendations for responsible Generative AI integration in education, while contributing to research, project management, dissemination, stakeholder engagement, and pilot activities within IRIS-XR.
Reporting to Prof. Eleni Mangina, the postholder will coordinate day-to-day project operations, liaise with international consortium partners, organise meetings and events, monitor project milestones and deliverables, maintain project documentation, support financial and administrative reporting, and ensure compliance with UCD and European Commission requirements.
Fixed Salary: €60,000 per annum
