We're looking for a passionate and reliable Hot Chef to join our kitchen team and help deliver high-quality hot food products throughout the day. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in food quality, and wants to develop their skills within a growing business.

What We're Looking For

Previous kitchen experience in food production

A passion for preparing high-quality food and maintaining excellent standards

Good knowledge of food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures

The ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

A positive, reliable and hard-working attitude

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings and weekends

A desire to learn and develop within a growing business

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing and cooking Pret's hot food products to the highest standards

Following recipes, specifications and food safety procedures at all times

Ensuring products are available, fresh and presented to Pret standards

Monitoring cooking times, temperatures and food quality throughout the day

Maintaining excellent food safety, health & safety and hygiene standards

Managing stock rotation and reducing waste through effective product management

Supporting product ordering, deliveries and stock control processes

Keeping all kitchen equipment and work areas clean and organised

Working closely with the wider shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience

Supporting the training and development of new kitchen team members

Contributing to a positive, supportive and inclusive team culture
