The role
As Assistant Manager, you're the General Manager's right hand - and you run the venue when they're not in it. The team on shift, the customer experience, the cash, the standards - yours to hold. You report to the General Manager, with a group behind you that knows this business inside out.
Hours: Rotating schedule within operating hours, including evenings and weekends.

An experienced assistant manager or supervisor from retail or hospitality. You might be an assistant manager in a bookmakers, a phone shop, a cinema, a family entertainment centre, a gym, a hotel or restaurant, or a busy store right now - the setting is different here, but the job is the same. We're a retail business: we trade seven days a week including evenings and weekends, and we'll expect you leading from the floor for your share of them. At least 2 years supervising or leading a team. No gaming experience needed - we'll teach you the industry.

- You can lead a team on the floor. Set the pace, give feedback, and get the same standard out of people whether the manager is in or not.
- You've handled money. Cash-heavy operations, daily takings, variances - accurate under pressure.
- You set the standard for customer service - and your shift holds it without being asked twice.
- You keep the place right. Presentation, cleanliness, atmosphere - you notice the details.
- You step up when it matters. Difficult customers, short staffing, something breaking - you deal with it, then tell the GM.
