Staff Nurse - Surgical Hub Peri Operative

Job Purpose

Expressions of interest are invited from permanent staff currently employed within the Dublin North East Region as a Staff Nurse with Peri Operative Theatre Experience for transfer opportunities to the new Surgical Hub based in Swords.

The Surgical Hub will be one of six surgical hubs planned to open across Ireland to increase the capacity for day case surgery and minor procedures. Each hub plans to deliver 10,000 day case surgeries and minor procedures, and 18,500 outpatient consultations annually. The Swords hub is planned to open in 2026.

Essential Criteria

Eligible candidates must on the closing date for applications:

• Be currently employed within the Dublin North East Region
• Have a minimum of 1 year Peri Operative Experience

Reassignment will be on a grade to grade basis only and current remuneration will apply.
