The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will travel between clients' homes to provide high-quality, person-centred care in line with each client's individual care plan.
Your duties may include:
Healthcare Assistants are not required to transport clients in their own vehicles. A car is required solely to travel between client visits.

The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will travel between clients' homes to provide high-quality, person-centred care in line with each client's individual care plan.
Your duties may include:
- Assisting clients with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting
- Supporting clients with mobility and transfers
- Preparing meals and assisting with light household duties
- Providing medication reminders in line with the client's care plan
- Offering companionship and emotional support
- Completing accurate care records
- Reporting any changes or concerns regarding a client's wellbeing
Healthcare Assistants are not required to transport clients in their own vehicles. A car is required solely to travel between client visits.
Essential Requirements
- Full Irish driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
- QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare Support, or equivalent
- Care Skills and Care of the Older Person modules
- Previous experience in home care, residential care or a similar healthcare setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A kind, reliable and professional approach
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
- Willingness to complete Garda Vetting and the required pre-employment compliance checks
