Key responsibilities in your new role

As a Principal Engineer for Digital Design, you will lead thearchitecture and implementation of complex digital and mixed-signal blocks forautomotive microcontroller IPs, ensuring safety compliance and drivingscalable, reusable IP development.

  • Lead architectural andconcept development, design, and RTL coding to synthesize and integrate complex digital and mixed-signal blocks for automotive microcontroller IPs
  • Conduct comprehensive analysisof digital blocks performance across various corner cases
  • Own microarchitecturedesign, specification, and maintenance
  • Perform synthesis,static timing analysis (STA), and optimize power/area/performancetrade-offs in close collaboration with the physical design team
  • Ensure designs comply with ISO 26262 and other automotive safety standards,implementing safety mechanisms as required
  • Proactively identifyand resolve technical risks and issues related to design, timing, or functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functionalteams - including System Architects, Software Engineers, and Validation teams - to ensure seamless product integration


Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

With solid familiarity in microcontroller infrastructure IPs - includingclocking, reset, power control, and on-chip monitoring and alarming - you bringa strong understanding of system-level design requirements. You are a skilledmentor with an approachable attitude, capable of working both independently andcollaboratively to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-quality results.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in ElectricalEngineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in digitaldesign, with a focus on automotive, safety-critical systems,and power management systems
  • Expertise in RTLcoding using System Verilog, Verilog, and VHDL, with knowledge of synthesis and static timing analysis(STA)
  • Experience with debugtools, simulation/emulation methodologies, and power/performance/areatrade-offs
  • Knowledge of automotivesafety standards (ISO 26262) (mandatory), with experience implementing safety mechanisms as an advantage
  • Experience with low-powerdesign techniques, and DFT (Design for Test)
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
