UCC wishes to appoint an administrator to the role of Category Specialist Higher (Facilities Management, Fleet & Utilities). Reporting to the Deputy Procurement Officer and will work collaboratively with the Procurement team across all projects/tasks assigned to deliver a best in practice service to its customers. The post holder will regular engage, support and collaborate with the FM/Utilities managers/staff in the University's Buildings and Estates team, Tyndall National Institute and our subsidiary companies on their FM related expenditure. The role will involve working in close collaboration with the national centralised Office of Government Procurement (OGP), its shared service partners including the Educational sector hub, the Education Procurement Services (EPS), the HSE and HEAnet.
Please note that Garda vetting and/or an international police clearance check may form part of the selection process.

Appointment may be made on the Admin III Salary Scale: €61,471 - €73,392 (Scale B) / €58,529 - €69,839 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
