UCC Gaelic Games Officer, Department of Sports & Physical Activity (UCC Sports)

UCC wishes to appoint an administrator to the role of UCC Gaelic Games Officer. Reporting to the Head of Department of Sport and Physical Activity.

The UCC Gaelic Games Officer is responsible for the promotion, organisation, coordination and development of Gaelic Games within UCC. The postholder will work in close collaboration with the UCC GAA Club Committee to coordinate the effective delivery of club activities, oversee performance and scholarship programmes, and contribute to the advancement of Gaelic Games at collegiate level. This role also acts as a key liaison between UCC, Cork GAA, and Munster GAA to support collaborative initiatives and off-season programme delivery. The position holder will also be responsible during the period from May to August for specific coaching and games development projects at both county and provincial levels as agreed with the County and Provincial Games Managers.

Appointment may be made on the Admin V Salary Scale: €52,338 - €64,190 (Scale B) / €50,066 - €61,097 (Scale A).

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
