About the Role:

This is a Business Analyst Manager role supporting and working closely with Citco's Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team. The CLM team is responsible for Customer Due Diligence (CDD), completing Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) on behalf of the Citco Group Companies. The CLM team plays an important role in ensuring Citco's regulatory obligations are met and delivering a positive customer experience during the process.

To support the continued development of the CLM function, Citco is looking to recruit a Business Analyst Manager with strong experience identifying, analysing and documenting business, functional and system requirements. The successful candidate will provide guidance and oversight to the team of business and system analysts, helping to ensure requirements and related deliverables are produced on time, to a high standard and aligned with business priorities. The role will also support the continued adoption and embedding of CLM's Ways of Working, helping to promote consistent, efficient and effective business analysis practices across the team. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders, including senior management, business operations, compliance and technology teams.

This role will report to the Senior Vice President responsible for CLM's Technology

Responsibilities

Job Duties in Brief:
  1. Business Analysis
  • Lead requirements gathering and analysis for CLM projects, enhancements and process improvement initiatives, ensuring business needs are clearly understood and documented.
  • Prepare and maintain business analysis deliverables, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, workflows, user stories, use cases, data requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Review and challenge business analysis deliverables, including business requirements, functional specifications, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria and related documentation, to ensure they are complete, accurate and fit for purpose.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams and support solution design discussions to ensure proposed solutions meet business objectives.
  • Analyse existing CLM processes, systems and data flows to identify opportunities to simplify ways of working, improve business process, reduce manual effort and enhance the customer experience.
  • Support the configuration and ongoing support of low-code SaaS applications, engaging with vendors to log, track and follow up on incidents, service requests and enhancement items as required.
  • Support prioritisation of requirements and backlog items by working with business stakeholders, product owners and technology teams.
  • Partner with testing and delivery teams to support test planning, review test scenarios, validate that delivered functionality meets requirements and assist with user acceptance testing.
  1. Supervision and Review
  • Manage and oversee the existing team of CLM Business Analysts, providing day-to-day guidance, direction and support across active projects, enhancements and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency, quality and appropriate governance of business analysis work across CLM initiatives, supporting the continued adoption and embedding of CLM's Ways of Working and ensuring business analysis activity remains aligned with CLM's vision, goals and strategic priorities.
  • Support prioritisation, resource allocation and workload management across the CLM Business Analysis team, helping to balance technology delivery priorities.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring and knowledge sharing to develop the capability, confidence and effectiveness of individual Business Analysts.
  • Monitor progress of business analysis activities against agreed plans and deliverables, identifying risks, dependencies or capacity constraints and escalating where appropriate.
  • Support regular feedback, performance discussions and development planning for team members in line with business priorities and the needs of the CLM function.
  • Lead release retrospectives and identify process improvement opportunities, leveraging AI, automation and other technology-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, quality and consistency across CLM.


  1. Project & Stakeholder Management
  • Plan, coordinate and track business analysis activities across multiple CLM projects, enhancements and change initiatives, ensuring timelines, dependencies and deliverables are clearly managed.
  • Work with project managers, product owners, technology teams and business stakeholders to align business analysis activity with agreed delivery plans, priorities and governance requirements.
  • Identify, manage and escalate risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies relating to business analysis scope, requirements, stakeholder engagement and delivery readiness.
  • Provide clear and concise progress updates, status reporting and decision-support materials to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders across CLM, Operations, Compliance, Technology and other relevant business functions.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with business, compliance, operations and technology stakeholders to define current-state processes, future-state requirements, pain points, risks and opportunities.
  • Communicate business requirements, solution concepts, impacts and trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Qualifications

About You:
  • You have a degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Technology, Finance, Operations or a related discipline, with a strong interest in financial services, regulatory change and technology-enabled transformation.
  • You have at least 5 years' experience in a Business Analysis, Technology, Operations or Financial Services environment, ideally supporting client onboarding, CLM, KYC, AML or regulatory change initiatives.
  • You have strong business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement and supporting technology delivery.
  • You have experience managing, mentoring or providing oversight to business analysts, system analysts, data analysts or similar roles.
  • You are able to review and challenge requirements, process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria and related business analysis deliverables to ensure they are clear, complete and fit for purpose.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior business, operations, compliance and technology stakeholders.
  • You can translate complex business, regulatory and technical requirements into clear, practical and actionable documentation.
  • You are highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • You have experience identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort and enhance quality through technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
  • Knowledge of Fenergo/FenX applications or broader CLM, AML/KYC and client due diligence processes is desirable.
  • General knowledge of databases, SQL Server, T-SQL, PostgreSQL, APIs or application integration concepts is desirable.
