Senior Psychologist - Critical Care Service (Temporary)

The post of Senior Psychologist working with the Critical Care Service at the Mater University Hospital offers an exciting and unique opportunity for the candidate to provide a quality psychological service in this area. The quality of survival for patients in Critical Care Units is best achieved when rehabilitation starts from the point of entry to critical care. The senior psychologist will offer neuropsychology assessment and therapeutic interventions within a rehabilitation framework to improve outcome for critical care inpatients and outpatients at post intensive care clinics. It is expected that the successful candidate will develop and provide an evidence-based psychology service within the Critical Care MDT. The Psychologist will be a member of the Dept. of Psychology which is in the Health and Social Care Directorate within the MMUH under the governance of the Principal Clinical Psychologist, Manager.
