Key Responsibilities
- Cost Tracking: Assist with monitoring project expenses, cash flow, and overall commercial budgets.
- Valuations: Support the preparation of monthly valuations, cost reports, and financial forecasts.
- Measurement: Measure and value works on-site against drawings and standard codes of measurement.
- Procurement: Assist with compiling subcontractor packages and evaluating competitive pricing tenders.
- Variations: Track variations, site design changes, and instructions to maintain precise cost control.
- Collaboration: Work daily alongside Senior Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and site engineering teams.
- Final Accounts: Provide administrative and commercial support to close out final sub-contractor accounts.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related building discipline.
- Experience: Ideally 1 to 3 years of experience in the Irish construction industry. Graduate profiles with solid placement experience are also highly considered.
- Tech Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized measurement or estimating software.
- Competencies: Strong numerical accuracy, sharp analytical skills, and clear verbal communication.
- Logistics: A valid Irish or EU driving licence is frequently mandatory for traveling between regional site developments.
