We are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team in Dublin City.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 16:00
Main duties and responsibilities
• Must be able to work well with their hands and understand the complexities of their area of work.
• Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools, and assembling components so they are ready for installation.
• Reading and interpreting project plans and coordinating with the labour crew for efficient installations.
• Carrying out planned maintenance checks.
• Responding to emergency calls.
• Conserving resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
• Carry out PPMs on equipment as required and carry out fault resolution and repairs to broken down equipment.
• Maintain appropriate records in line with requirements.
• Assist in the installation of new plant and equipment.
• Ensure any training deemed necessary by your line manager is completed within the agreed timeframe.
• Sourcing and stocking of spare parts as required to ensure minimum stock levels are maintained in accordance with client requirements
• Always ensure compliance with Health and Safety and legislative requirements.
• Report of any accident, incidents and out of place findings to the line manager.
• You may be asked to work overtime to cover out of hours work as determined by the Engineering Manager.
• Take on ad hoc projects from time to time as deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager or an Apleona representative
Qualifications and experience
• Electrical Senior Trades or Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in the following areas - Utilities / Facilities.
• Proven track record in Preventative and Reactive Maintenance in a similar environment.
• Methodical, analytical and enthusiastic approach to work with good attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Team player with excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal & written.
• Excellent problem solving and trouble shooting ability.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Must be physically fit as this can be a demanding role.
• Must be extremely flexible.
