About the Role
FLY4 Airlines is seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our Flight Operations team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support the smooth and efficient delivery of daily flight operations by coordinating schedules, monitoring operational performance, supporting fleet planning, and helping ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
The ideal candidate will be solutions-focused, detail-oriented and confident working in a fast-paced aviation environment. FLY4 Airlines is seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Coordinator to join our Flight Operations team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will support the smooth and efficient delivery of daily flight operations by coordinating schedules, monitoring operational performance, supporting fleet planning, and helping ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure adherence to the agreed KPIs by the subcontracted service-provider.
- Develop forward plans and contingencies to prevent operational disruptions.
- Provide general oversight of OCC activities and operational performance.
- Collaborate with Engineering & Maintenance (E&M), Crew Control, Crew Planning, and Ground Operations.
- Support optimisation of flight programmes and recommend process improvements.
- Contribute to the review and improvement of IOCC services currently subcontracted.
- Develop and nurture constructive relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders associated with the Operations eco-system at FLY4.

Emergency Response
- Maintain knowledge of the emergency response programme policies, processes, and procedures, as defined by the Emergency Response Procedures. Be prepared to respond in a crisis as an ERP representative, if required by the role.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Airline operations or aviation-related diploma/degree or equivalent operational experience.
- Experience in airline operations, crew scheduling, or operational coordination.
- Knowledge of EASA aviation regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to anticipate operational challenges and implement effective contingencies.
Desirable Skills
- Advanced or specialised aviation qualifications (e.g., IATA Operations courses, Safety Management Systems training).
- Project management or operational leadership training relevant to airline operations.
- Experience with Operations Control Centre (OCC) oversight.
- Knowledge of fleet and crew management software/tools.
- Previous exposure to international flight operations.
- Experience in process improvement and operational optimisation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Integrated Operations Control Centre (IOCC) services or similar operational frameworks.
- Confident, approachable and tenacious.
- Proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Flexibility to travel and work outside of normal hours, when required to accommodate operational requirements and emergencies.
