About the role:

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join the Revenue Recognition & Accounting team. This role supports the accounting, reporting, and analysis of revenue across licensing, subscription, advertising, data, and platform-based businesses. The successful candidate will gain exposure to complex revenue arrangements and work closely with Finance, Revenue Operations, FP&A, Legal, Sales Operations, and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Review customer contracts and amendments to assess revenue recognition implications and support the application of ASC 606 accounting requirements.
  • Prepare accounting documentation and analyses supporting revenue recognition conclusions and audit requirements.
  • Assist with external and internal audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
  • Support advertising, monetisation, and TiVo OS revenue accounting, including revenue share and other complex commercial arrangements.
  • Assist with revenue forecasting, management reporting, and revenue-related statutory disclosures.
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and NetSuite system enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience

Required

  • ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified.
  • 1-2 years post-qualification experience in accounting, audit, or finance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
  • Exposure to publicly listed companies, NetSuite, Salesforce, and external audits.
