We are seeking an Operations Trading Assistant to join our Operations and Property team. Reporting to the Operational Efficiency Manager, Boots Ireland, you will support the delivery of operational excellence across ROI through supplier management, governance, project delivery, and process improvement. Working with internal and external stakeholders, you will oversee third-party service providers, monitor budgets and performance, support UK and ROI initiatives, and help drive efficient, customer-focused operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day performance of contracted service providers, including Brinks, Bunzl, SBFM, Linney, Dimensions, and other partners.
- Lead supplier governance, including MBRs, QBRs, reporting, SLA monitoring, and budget management.
- Support the delivery of UK-led projects, including Orion and F&R, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Lead hybrid operations activity, ensuring stores are set up effectively and peak trading plans are embedded.
- Support the Operational Efficiency Manager on ROI strategic projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide operational support and cover as deputy for the ROI Operations Trading Assistant when required.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in operations management, supplier governance, or a similar role.
- Strong stakeholder, supplier, and project management skills.
- Experience managing budgets, SLAs, and performance reporting.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Retail or multi-site operational experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and reporting tools.
