Research Assistant - TRAP
We invite applications for a research assistant to join a dynamic, interdisciplinary team working on innovative nature-based solutions (NbS) to mitigate plastic pollution in river systems. This position is part of a collaborative international project. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine field research, laboratory work, stakeholder engagement, and policy-relevant science.
The successful candidate will work closely with the project lead and collaborate with project partners to assess NbS efficiency under real-world conditions and contribute to shared data collection and reporting.
The researcher will have the opportunity to contribute to designing, implementing, and evaluating NbS interventions aimed at capturing plastic waste in riverine environments.
The researcher will collaborate with academic partners, policy stakeholders, and planning agencies to translate research insights into actionable recommendations.
