This role is based in our head office in Belfield Office Park, Clonskeagh, Dublin, with four days in the office (Monday-Thursday) and Fridays remote.
Role Summary
This is a dual role opportunity focused on structuring funding solutions for new and existing businesses, from originating and converting new opportunities to developing and growing established customer relationships.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring and managing customer funding relationships across Financefair's funding solutions.
Owning a portfolio of prospective and existing customers, you will lead transactions from initial qualification and discovery through credit approval, facility execution, funding, and ongoing relationship management. Working closely with internal teams and external funding partners, you will deliver funding solutions that meet customer needs while balancing Financefair's commercial objectives, credit appetite, and operational standards.
This is a customer facing role combining relationship management, transaction execution and commercial development. It offers the opportunity to work with ambitious SMEs, founders and advisers while helping shape innovative funding solutions within a growing fintech business.

Key Responsibilities
Transaction Management & Execution:
- Manage funding transactions from initial assessment through to funding.
- Analyse financial information and structure appropriate funding solutions.
- Prepare credit papers and funding proposals.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient execution.
- Manage onboarding, AML/KYC and customer communications.
Customer & Portfolio Management:
- Act as the primary relationship manager for an assigned portfolio of prospective and existing customers.
- Develop a detailed understanding of customers' businesses, funding requirements, growth plans and future financing needs.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, identifying opportunities for renewals, facility increases and additional funding solutions.
- Build long-term customer relationships that drive retention, repeat business and referrals.
- Monitor portfolio performance, ensuring customer developments, risks and opportunities are accurately documented and communicated internally.
Commercial & Stakeholder Management:
- Build strong relationships with referral partners, professional advisers, institutional funding partners and other key stakeholders.
- Lead customer meetings, presenting Financefair's funding solutions confidently to business owners, finance leaders and senior decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, customer and portfolio information within HubSpot and internal reporting systems.
- Contribute to commercial strategy by sharing customer insights, market intelligence and competitor activity.
- Support initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and portfolio performance.
Success in the role will be measured through:
- Quality and value of funding opportunities generated and managed.
- Conversion of opportunities into funded transactions.
- Growth in funded assets under management.
- Revenue generated from new and existing customer relationships.

Qualifications & Experience
- Professional Accounting Qualification or a Bachelor's/Masters in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years' experience in banking, lending, corporate finance or financial services.
- Proven experience managing financing opportunities or complex commercial transactions from origination through to completion.
- Experience building trusted relationships with SMEs, founders, advisers and senior decision makers.
- Strong financial analysis skills with knowledge of debt, structured finance, working capital or commercial lending products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities within a fast paced environment.
