About the opportunity:
Due to exciting and continued growth, we are seeking a proactive and commercially minded payroll and credit control administrator to join our internal Finance department in our Cork office. The role is hybrid, full-time permanent working a minimum of 30 hours per week.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong experience in payroll and credit control administration. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and will be comfortable challenging existing processes and provide assistance implementing and optimising new technologies.

As a payroll & credit control administrator, you can expect your duties to include;
Payroll
- Process monthly payroll in an accurate and timely manner.
- Includes processing new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, pay rate changes, allowance and deductions changes, administering third party deductions such as pension, social welfare and health insurance.
- Interacting with ROS in relation to Revenue Payroll Notifications, Payroll Submissions, Statements of Account, Enhanced Reporting Requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Irish payroll legislation and revenue requirements.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and supporting documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiencies.
Credit Control
- Manage the end-to-end credit control process.
- Allocate customer receipts to the appropriate accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue balances.
- Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate timely collections.
- Respond to client queries promptly and professionally.
- Liase with partners and managers regarding overdue accounts.
- Help establish a modern technology enabled credit control function that supports business growth and improves customer payment behaviour.
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience processing Irish payroll.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Credit Control.
- Curious and innovate with a passion for technology and comfortable challenging traditional ways of working.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative when required.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using systems including XPM, XERO and Sage 50 Payroll is desired but not essential.
