Limerick | Immediate Start | Pharmaceutical Project
ProFleet Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Night Shift QA/QC Welding Inspector for an immediate start on a leading pharmaceutical project in Limerick.
This position is ideally suited to an individual with a strong mechanical and welding quality background who is confident working independently on a busy night shift while maintaining the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Sign off weld coupons in accordance with project procedures.
* Carry out borescope inspections of hygienic welds and approve completed welds.
* Inspect weld preparation, purge quality and internal condition of schedule pipe welds.
* Record and sign off inspections through the EIDA quality management system.
* Complete visual inspections of schedule welds and ensure accurate documentation.
* Verify all welds are correctly recorded within the project weld log.
* Ensure IMER documentation is completed accurately.
* Monitor and maintain welding quality standards throughout the shift.
* Provide quality support to the fabrication and installation teams.
* Print drawings, weld logs and quality documentation as required.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within QA/QC Mechanical or Welding Inspection.
* Strong understanding of hygienic and schedule pipe welding.
* Experience inspecting stainless steel process pipework.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and isometric drawings.
* Experience with digital quality management systems (EIDA experience advantageous).
* High attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
* Able to work independently on night shift.
* Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Semiconductor or Data Centre experience preferred.
