Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts for select divisions.

• Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Prepare and submit VAT returns.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.

• Prepare reports / documentation for divisional heads for billing purposes.

• Manage year-end closing processes.

• Support internal audits by preparing required documentation.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and and company policies.

• Analyse financial data and provide management with reports and recommendations.

• Improve financial controls and accounting processes.

• Liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders.

• Any other duties that maybe requested

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Qualified Accountant 1 to 2 years PQE.

• Must have worked in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

Experience

• 2 – 4 years' experience in financial accounting or a similar finance role.

• Experience preparing financial statements.

• Experience with month-end and year-end reporting.

• Experience working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge

• Financial reporting standards (IFRS, GAAP, or applicable local standards).

• Financial controls and internal audit procedures

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
