Head of Programme Management
Bus Éireann is seeking an experienced senior leader to lead multiple enterprise projects concurrently, providing the vital connection between strategic vision and successful execution.
In this dynamic senior leadership role, the successful candidate will drive the delivery of Horizon 28 outcomes by overseeing transformation priorities, enhancing organisational performance and ensuring the organisation remains responsive to a changing external environment.
Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) and working collaboratively across the Senior Leadership Team, the role will play a pivotal part in shaping the prioritisation, governance and resourcing of strategic projects to maximise organisational impact and successful delivery.

ROLE PURPOSE
The Head of Programme Management will be required to establish the connection between strategy and execution giving the Executive and the board a single, reliable view of transformation health, prioritising investment, assuring customer focused delivery and embedding continuous improvement across the company.
Working across all business functions, the role will ensure that transformation initiatives are effectively planned, implemented and embedded, delivering tangible benefits aligned with corporate objectives. The Head of Programme Management will be required to embed a structure for programme governance, benefits realisation, organisational transformation monitoring, change management and continuous improvement activities, enabling the CTO to maintain strategic oversight of the broader transformation agenda.
The role will act as a key link between strategy and execution, ensuring that innovation opportunities, data-driven insights and customer feedback are translated into practical improvements that enhance organisational effectiveness and the optimisation of performance. Through strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration, the position will drive accountability for delivery, supports evidence-based decision-making and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and transformation excellence.
This position is based in our Broadstone Depot, Dublin 7 and will have scope for hybrid working arrangements.
