What You'll Be Doing
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
Key responsibilities include:
- Picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch
- Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
- Receiving, checking and storing incoming stock
- Ensuring all products are correctly labelled, scanned and stored
- Carrying out stock checks and assisting with inventory control
- Reporting damaged or missing stock
- Operating warehouse equipment, including PPTs and forklifts (where licensed)
- Maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment
- Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
Essential:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Forklift license (Counterbalance and Reach Truck)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices
Desirable:
- PPT certification
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Stock control or inventory experience
