Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this post is to provide leadership, strategic planning, operational organisation, integration and management of the Occupational Therapy teams across CHI, ensuring provision of high quality services at all times. This post-holder will prepare the team to support the transition to the new children's hospital.
The successful candidate may be required to work across CHI sites and services in ine with organisational requirements and the development of the new children's hospital and associated services.
Essential Criteria:
(a)
Candidates for appointment must:
(i)
Be registered as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Registration Board at CORU.
And
(ii)
Have 5 years full time (or an aggregate of 5 years full time) post qualification Occupational Therapy experience.
And
(iii)Candidates must have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability, management, leadership and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
(b) Demonstrated management experience in an acute hospital setting with a proven track record of leading teams, managing resources, delivering service improvements, and achieving operational and strategic objectives
