ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a People Partner to support our Galway site and help create a great employee experience for our teams.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for managers and employees on day-to-day HR topics. You will support employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance, payroll inputs, HR operations, and people projects.

You will work under the responsibility of closely with the Global HR Manager while taking ownership of local HR delivery. This means being hands-on, approachable, organised, and ready to support both people and business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

In your day-to-day role, you will:
• Be the main HR point of contact for managers and employees at our Galway site.
• Support managers with practical advice on people topics, including performance, development, engagement, employee relations, and day-to-day HR matters.
• Manage employee relations cases with fairness, confidence, and good judgement.
• Partner with hiring managers to attract, recruit, and onboard great talent across different teams and sites.
• Help create a smooth, welcoming, and positive onboarding experience for new joiners.
• Keep HR operations running smoothly, including employee data, payroll inputs, HR documentation, and people processes.
• Ensure HR practices remain compliant with Irish employment legislation, internal policies, and TOPPAN Security standards.
• Support organizational change, HR projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Bring ideas, energy, and team spirit to help make the Galway site a great place to work.

About you

You enjoy working with people, solving problems, and supporting managers in a practical and positive way.

You know how to build trust, listen carefully, and give clear advice. You can balance empathy with accountability, stay calm under pressure, and handle sensitive topics with professionalism and discretion.

You like variety, enjoy being close to the action, and feel comfortable handling many different topics at the same time. moving between employee relations, recruitment, payroll inputs, HR administration, projects, and manager support.

Most importantly, you enjoy being part of a team. You bring curiosity, positive energy, and the desire to grow while helping others grow too.

What we're looking for

You will ideally bring:
• 4+ years of experience in a generalist HR role.
• Strong experience in employee relations and case management.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, operational, or blue-collar environment.
• Good knowledge of Irish employment legislation.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
• A strong team spirit and the ability to build positive, trust-based relationships.
• A genuine eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a collaborative HR culture.
• The motivation to help strengthen and expand TOPPAN Security's culture across teams.
• Confidence working with managers and employees at different levels.

Nice to have:
• CIPD qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting multi-site organizations.
• Experience with HRIS tools or people analytics.
• Experience working with senior operational leaders.
• Exposure to workforce planning, change management, or HR projects.
