UCC wishes to appoint an administrator to the role of IT Manager (Digital Experience). Reporting to the IT Services Director, this is a senior management position responsible for leading the University's Digital Experience function, ensuring that staff and students benefit from modern, reliable and user-centred digital platforms and services that support teaching, learning, collaboration and productivity.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for three specialist teams comprising approximately twelve professional staff:
• Learning Technologies Unit
• Web Applications Team
• Digital Advisory Centre
Together these teams are responsible for the configuration, administration, support and continual enhancement of a broad portfolio of enterprise digital platforms that underpin the University's academic and administrative activities. The IT Manager will work closely with academic and professional service leaders across the University to ensure services meet evolving institutional needs while maintaining strong governance, service quality and customer satisfaction.
The role requires a strong technical understanding of enterprise digital platforms, but a significant focus will be on strategic leadership, people management, stakeholder engagement, service management and continuous improvement. The postholder will ensure that services are aligned with institutional priorities while fostering innovation, improving user experience and maintaining operational excellence.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I Salary Scale: €86,119 - €113,446 (Scale B) / €83,156 - €107,771 (Scale A).
Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy.
