The Role

The Logistics & Stock Administrator plays a key role within the Fethard Planning team, providing administrative support to the Stock Controllers and Site Planners.

Working closely with external warehouse providers and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating stock movements, supporting dispatch activities, and ensuring inventory is reconciled accurately. This is a varied and fast paced role where attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential to supporting the site's operational performance.

Preferred Experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and managing large datasets
  • Previous experience in stock control, logistics, planning, or administration is advantageous
  • Experience maintaining spreadsheets, reports, and inventory records
  • Comfortable working with multiple priorities and meeting deadlines

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate stock records through daily stock reconciliation and inventory control
  • Coordinate stock movements between the site and external warehouse providers
  • Monitor dispatches, confirm orders, and resolve stock or logistics issues promptly
  • Support Site Planners with stock ordering and inventory availability
  • Investigate stock discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend process improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support stock control activities
  • Contribute to daily and weekly KPI reporting and operational reviews
  • Act as a key point of contact for stock and logistics queries across the site
