Job Purpose:
START Dublin aims to provide patients with the opportunity to participate in early
phase clinical trials. The post holder would be expected to work as part of a
multidisciplinary team, to contribute to the delivery of START Dublin's objectives in
conducting clinical research, under the principles of Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
The Clinical Trials Data Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the management of Data for Oncology studies including transcribing accurate data from clinical notes into Case Report Forms (electronic or paper as required) in accordance with the clinical trials protocol and GCP, liaising with CRA's from Pharma/ CRO's and Cancer Trials Ireland, meeting sponsor deadlines and ensuring efficient running of clinical trials. They are also required to support a number of administration duties which relate directly to the data capture and management of Clinical trials, including safety reporting.
The Data manager will be backed up by the existing START Data Management team and will therefore provide cross cover to the team.
