Key Responsibilities
Lead management and applicant qualification
- Respond promptly to inbound enquiries via phone, email and virtual consultations, meeting agreed response time and activity KPIs
- Qualify and triage prospective students using structured criteria to identify high intent, high suitability applicants
- Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand goals, motivations, timing and readiness to apply
- Provide clear and accurate information on programmes, entry requirements, schedules, fees and learner outcomes
- Prioritise follow ups based on lead quality, engagement levels and likelihood to convert
Sales pipeline and target delivery
- Achieve defined monthly and quarterly sales and enrolment targets
- Manage an active pipeline in the CRM including follow ups, task management, forecasting and reporting
- Maintain accurate pipeline notes and stage tracking to ensure visibility and momentum
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics including conversion rates, consultation volumes and enrolment outcomes
- Adjust daily sales activity to maximise performance and ensure consistent progress toward targets
Applicant conversion and support
- Guide applicants through application, documentation and enrolment steps to ensure completion
- Maintain regular contact throughout the decision making process to increase enquiry to registration conversion
- Handle objections professionally, addressing concerns with confidence and offering solutions that support decision making
- Deliver a high quality, ethical sales experience that reflects the organisation's standards and values
Events and lead nurturing
- Support webinars, information sessions, open days and recruitment events (online and in person where required)
- Follow up effectively with attendees to convert interest into consultations and applications
- Work to daily and weekly outreach targets including calls, follow ups, consultations booked and applications progressed
Collaboration and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with admissions, academic and operational teams to ensure accurate information and smooth applicant progression
- Share insights on lead quality, applicant trends, objections and conversion barriers
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimise the enrolment journey and overall sales performance
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a target driven sales environment such as enrolment, recruitment, telesales, account management, customer success or inbound sales
- Proven ability to qualify and convert leads using a consultative approach
- Confident phone based communicator with strong influencing and relationship building skills
- Strong CRM capability with experience managing pipeline stages, tasks and reporting
- Highly organised with excellent follow up discipline and attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance driven environment
- Strong team player with a positive, proactive and solution focused approach
