Security Officer

The Security Guard will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report.

Responsibilities

Protect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment Discreetly observe for signs of theft / stock loss

Act lawfully in direct defense of property

Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences

Report in detail any suspicious incidents

Regularly patrol and survey the building

Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates Watch alarm systems or video cameras

Close the building at night and complete necessary security checks

The Person

Previous experience as a security guard, a static PSA licence and ideally a Door Supervisor PSA licence.

Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to detect any suspicious activities.

Be discrete in dealing with any suspicious activities.

Be a good communicator who is able to work effectively with other areas of the business.

A trustworthy and honest individual.

Very flexible - hours of work will vary and the business is open 7 days a week from 8am to 3am, depending on the day.
